synopsis- This anime is about a teenage boy called Ichigo who is dragged in to the supernatural world due to his ability to see ghost. He then is pulled into a complicated plot of soul reapers, quincys and his friends having abilities. All fighting against evil spirits called hollows. This sounds very basic but there are many more aspects to the series and as you progress it gets better and more explosive.
I am going to have to start on the negatives of series 1 then tell you all the good aspects as there are so few negatives. To admit there is two parts of bleach series 1 I can't stand and when I go and re watch the series I just skip, the first is their is a story involving a bird and a hollow this episode is one of the hardest to get through as its just so irratating, its voice, the hollow, chad they are a bad combo. the second is the introduction of a character that means nothing. this is don koniji. he is the most irratating character and was so unnecessary he is just used as a filler character.. rant over.art- I love the art of bleach, there is nothing spectacular about it but still the bold colours and changing off shading depending on the mood really helps build the anime.
music- the opening and end theme tunes of bleach are so annoying and you might as well watch it ones then skip it from then on. and the song they use to demonstrate action is occurring if funny the first time, 30 times later not good. they should use it more like the piano song they use for sadness rarely to increase impact..
characters: I will go into the few main ones. The main character of them all ichigo, I like him the most in series 1 later on he goes abit emo and reserved but series 1 its all different. Hes angry,defensive and stubborn. these are the types of characters I find the most entertaining and he is incredibly loyal to his friends which is sorta a theme through out. The second is orihime, as one of the main female characters I dont like her. she is weak and always gives up and is emo from the start, shes the character that drags the rest of the group down and her dubbing is irritating shes the complete opposite to ichigo which is suppose helps balance their team. Chad, I don't have much opinion on chad, he is quite but strong and defensive. Hes the character that will surprise you. The second most irritating character is uryu, an angry quincy with a grudge against soul reapers. from the very first introduction his character annoyed me and continues to annoy me even in season 7.
I personally would recommend this anime to anyone planning on getting to anime its a very good starting point. this is because its not to abstract plot idea and the more complicated aspects are repeatedly explained making the anime easy to understand, so CHECK IT OUT!!art for today is any by Ann Stokes who is my second best to Victoria Francis.
I recommend follow through by Blue October as the music for this week, I just love this song.
